  1. Do you store my credit card?

    No. For security reasons, your credit card information is not stored anywhere within Muniportal.ca, with one exception.

    The "Community Connections - Program Registration" service utilizes a separate payment processing system, which requires credit card information to be stored for the purpose of cancellations and refunds. Please contact this particular service's Customer Service Line at 780-538-0455 for more information.

  2. Do you sell or give away my personal information?

    No. All personal information is kept confidential and not provided to other companies or organizations except as required by Law. Please see our privacy policy for further information.

  3. Who owns Muniportal.ca?

    Muniportal.ca is owned by the City of Grande Prairie.

  4. How do you ensure my payment information is secure?

    All payments are processed in a secure environment using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) ensuring that all transactions are encrypted. Payment processing is completed by Moneris Solutions, Canada's largest processor of debit and credit card transactions.

  5. What services are available?

    Muniportal.ca provides various municipal services that can be handled online. These services are not limited to the City of Grande Prairie but can be for other locations as well.

  6. Why am I required to register for some services?

    Some services require you to register as it involves a fee in order to access that service. By registering, a user account and password is created that ensures that only users who have paid for this service can get access. So every time you login with your username and password you will be able to access the services that you paid for and you will be able to view your account information (e.g. transaction reciepts etc) . In addition, a user account restricts access to your information to authorized muniportal.ca users.

  7. What are the methods of payment I can use?

    Muniportal.ca accepts VISA, Mastercard, and American Express credit cards as methods of payments.

  8. Where are my items?

    You can view selected items in your shopping cart by clicking on the top right corner of the muniportal.ca website where it says "SHOPPING CART".
